The From Name is the sender label recipients see in their inbox. Learn best practices for From Names that improve recognition and reduce spam complaints.
The From Name is the display name shown next to the sender address in an inbox, like “Automyc Support” or “Dhiraj from Automyc.” It often influences whether a recipient opens the email more than the subject line does.
A good From Name is consistent and recognizable. Frequent changes can reduce trust, and generic names can blend into the inbox, lowering opens and increasing confusion.
For best results, use a stable brand name for newsletters and transactional emails, and consider a person + brand format for outreach. Keep it short so it doesn’t truncate on mobile.
