PayPal fee estimates: what’s different

PayPal pricing depends on the receiving account’s market, the product and the currency received. This calculator starts with standard Australian commercial transactions in AUD and can switch to US PayPal Checkout in USD.

A PayPal domestic transaction means the sender and receiver are registered in the same market. It is not simply a question of which currency the customer pays in. Select the buyer location and check the product label before comparing the estimate.

What works

  • Choose your business account country before entering an amount.
  • Use the international option for a buyer registered in a different market.
  • Review your dashboard for negotiated pricing and currency conversion. The gross-up amount is a pricing estimate.
