How it works

  1. 01

Choose a bounded clip and transcribe, import SRT/VTT or add captions manually.

  2. 02

Correct words and timestamps while previewing playback.

  3. 03

Resolve timing errors and download SRT, VTT or TXT.

Why it helps

Review readable captions and take portable subtitle files into your publishing workflow.

For example: A creator uploads a short tutorial, corrects the transcript and exports SRT alongside the clip.

Good to know

Clips are limited to 60 seconds and 100 MB. Automatic transcription uploads audio to a provider and uses a separate processing allowance. Caption styling is a preview; video burn-in is not included.

Questions

Can I edit captions without another transcription request?

Yes. Manual edits, imported captions and subtitle exports run locally.

Are captions burned into the video?

No. Exported SRT/VTT files carry timed text. Styling and burn-in are handled by your player or video editor.

Where is my work saved?

When browser storage is available, editable drafts stay on this device for up to seven days. Clearing site data removes them. Video clips must be selected again after reload; temporary processing results have separate limits shown in the tool. Download important work.

Does this start an Automyc trial?

No. Using a free tool, or creating a free account from one, does not create a workspace or start a paid trial.
