Free QR code menu generator for restaurants and cafés

Make a QR code for your menu and print it on table cards with a “Scan for our menu” caption. No sign-up, no expiry, and you can update the menu without reprinting.

  • Free, no account needed
  • PNG or SVG
  • No redirect, never expires

For restaurant menus: what’s different

A menu QR code saves reprinting every time a price changes, but only if it points at a page you can edit. Link the code to a menu page on your website rather than a PDF, and the code on the table never needs replacing.

This tool makes a plain QR code that holds your link directly. There’s no redirect service in between, so it never expires and there’s no subscription to keep it alive.

What works

  • Link to a web page, not a PDF. PDFs are slow on phones and hard to zoom.
  • Print codes at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide on table cards, bigger on wall posters.
  • Use dark code on a light background. Light-on-dark codes fail on some phone cameras.
  • Test the printed card under your actual restaurant lighting, at the table.
  • Keep paper menus for people who ask. Not every guest wants to use their phone.

How to use it

  1. 1.Paste where the code should go.
  2. 2.Choose colours and a label. The contrast check warns you if it may not scan.
  3. 3.Download and test it with your phone camera.

Questions

Will the QR code stop working?

No. It holds your menu link itself, not a redirect, so it works as long as that page is online.

How do I change the menu without reprinting?

Keep the same menu web address and update the page behind it. The QR code doesn’t need to change.

Can I put my logo in the middle?

Not in this free tool. Logos cover part of the code and make it harder to scan from a distance; the framed caption does the same job.
