How people use it
A café owner makes a smaller copy of a product clip, checks the lettering at the chosen resolution and downloads it for a message or email.
What it won’t do
Actual file size depends on the browser encoder and content. The tool retries once if it misses its effective target. Some compact originals may become larger. Limits are 100 MB/60 seconds on smaller devices and up to 500 MB/10 minutes on capable desktops, with a 150 MB output cap.
Questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. Reading, encoding and comparisons run in your browser.
Will it always reach the exact target?
No. It estimates bitrate and resolution, then retries once if necessary. The displayed size is the actual output size.
Does it remove sound?
No. Audio is kept when present. If the browser cannot export a required track, the tool reports an error instead of silently dropping it.
Are the app presets upload limits?
They are convenient size targets. Current platform limits vary by plan, account and upload method; check your destination.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation keeps the source and any earlier result so you can adjust settings and try again.
Where is my work saved?
Inputs and supported files are saved in this browser for up to seven days when storage is available. Clearing site data removes them. Download important work and keep your original files.
Does this start an Automyc trial?
No. Using a free tool, or making a free account from one, doesn’t start a paid trial or create a workspace.
