How people use it

A small team extracts an MP3 copy of a video’s audio and downloads the completed batch.

What it won’t do

Audio extraction needs a source with an audio track. Codec support varies by browser; some HEVC and ProRes sources cannot be decoded. WAV output can be large.

Questions

Can a silent video become an MP3?

No. A video without an audio track cannot produce sound to extract. The sample includes a labelled synthetic tone.

Are files uploaded?

No. Decoding and encoding happen on your device.

Does MOV always convert?

MOV is a container and can hold different codecs. If your browser cannot decode HEVC or ProRes, try a compatible browser or export H.264 first.

Can I download the whole batch?

Yes. Download completed files together as a ZIP. The source batch and output caps keep memory use bounded.

Where is my work saved?

Inputs and supported files are saved in this browser for up to seven days when storage is available. Clearing site data removes them. Download important work and keep your original files.

Does this start an Automyc trial?

No. Using a free tool, or making a free account from one, doesn’t start a paid trial or create a workspace.
