How people use it
A shop owner converts iPhone HEIC product photos into WebP, caps the longest edge at 2400 pixels and downloads the batch for a website.
What it won’t do
Up to 40 MB and 50 megapixels per input, 200 MB per batch, and 16 megapixels per AVIF export. Animated inputs become still images. Exports remove camera and location metadata. Browser storage may limit saved batches.

Questions
Are the images uploaded?
No. Native codecs and separately loaded image libraries process them in your browser.
Can it open HEIC photos?
It tries your browser’s native decoder first, then a separate HEIC worker. An unsupported or damaged image is kept with an actionable error.
Does AVIF always work?
When the browser cannot encode AVIF, the tool tries a WebAssembly encoder. If that fails, choose WebP. It never labels a PNG as AVIF.
What happens to transparency and metadata?
PNG, WebP and AVIF can preserve transparency. JPG uses your chosen background. Every export removes camera and location metadata.
Can I keep an animated GIF?
This tool exports a still image from the first frame. Keep the original if you need its animation.
Where is my work saved?
Inputs and supported files are saved in this browser for up to seven days when storage is available. Clearing site data removes them. Download important work and keep your original files.
Does this start an Automyc trial?
No. Using a free tool, or making a free account from one, doesn’t start a paid trial or create a workspace.
